UTILIZATION OF WORN-OUT AUTOMOBILE TIRES IN THE RIVNE REGION: ORGANIZATIONAL AND ECONOMIC ASPECTS

Abstract

The increase of the cars number increases the relevance of utilization of worn out tires, its number increases day by day. According to wellknown technologies, worn-out automobile tires are generally used in construction or it are processed by chemical, physical, chemical or mechanical methods. The mechanical processing of worn-out tires is the most environmentally friendly and safe. It includes purification from dirt and non-hearth spikes, removal of side rings, cutting pieces of rubber 200x200 mm, coarse and fine grinding of chopped pieces, removal of metal cord and textile cords, and classification of crushed rubber into narrow classes of grain size. The estimated mass of wornout automobile tires components for utilization in the Rivne region is 1367,1 tons/year of rubber, 273,4 tons/year of metal cord and 182,3 tons/year of textile cord. This raw material can be involved in further processing. In this paper, it is proposed to divide thetechnological process of worn-out tires utilization in the Rivne region into primary and deep processing. The organizational structure of the collection and recycling of worn-out tires includes three levels are developed. At each level there are collection points, primary and deep processing. Such an organization reduces transport costs and increases the employment rate in the Rivne region.
