STUDIES OF CURRENT PROJECT DELIVERY METHODS IN BUILDING
Keywords:
Integrated Project Delivery, early involvement, IPD, construction projectAbstract
The research analyzes the core, characteristics and principles of theIntegrated Project Delivery (IPD) and establishes the connectionbetween it and the traditional project delivery methods. The IPDaccumulates some of their special features and becomes the nextstage in the evolution of the construction industry. One of the maincharacteristics of the IPD is an early involvement of key participants, based on the following principles: early involvement, early goaldefinition, intensified planning, and organization and leadership. Theaim of the research is to compare the effectiveness of the traditionalproject delivery methods and the IPD by the criterion of the total costfor project modification.References
