INVESTIGATION TO HOW THE PERIOD OF MINING FACES TESTING IN THE IRON ORE OPEN PIT AFFECTS THE PROFIT OF THE ORE DRESSING COMBINE

Abstract

At present, the period of mining faces testing in iron-ore open pit in Ukraine has not been determined. The information on the content of the useful component is removed based on the technical capabilities of the enterprise’s special services.The presence of significant quality fluctuations in the faces adversely affects the possibility of formation of the ore ore flow in a given boundary range. Information on the quality of the ore mass in the faces and the dynamics of its change is the basis for solving the problem of obtaining a common ore flow in the given qualitative characteristics.As a result of the conducted studies, the relationship between theperiod of the pit face testing and the relative loss of information on the content of the log component in the formed ore flow and the forecast profit of the GOK was determined. A mathematical model of the process of testing the faces of a quarry during the formation of a common pit ore flow is considered. Based on the example of PJSC Poltava GOK using mathematical methods, the estimate of the possible decrease in the profits of the mining and processing combine is given due to the loss of information on the content of the useful component as a function of the sampling discreteness.Dependences of the relative loss of information on the RMS of thecontent of the useful component in the ore flow are obtained from the discreteness of the testing of the pit faces and the relative decrease in the index of the forecast profit of the combine from the discreteness of the testing of the faces of the quarry.
