Abstract

The article outlines the main problems of implementation of the principles of sustainable development at different levels of the  administrative and socio-economic hierarchy. The modern approaches to the processes of balance and their influence on the efficiency of development of the states and their territories are determined. The necessity of solving the problems of the exhaustion of the necessary natural resources and the approaches to the solution of this issue in view of the long-term priorities of economic development are considered. The paper points to the need for an effective combination of management steps in the economic, environmental and social spheres, as well as the importance of conducting thorough analytical work to identify potential weaknesses in economic systems, including the study of retrospective aspects and forecasting their activities.
