Abstract

The digital revolution has left its mark on the way we work, communicate, learn and interact with the world. However, these important changes affect all segments of the population unevenly. The impact of digital development on people of the third age, who may be less prepared for the digital environment and information technologies, is especially important. The inclusion of people of the third age in the digital society is an important component of inclusive development and requires special measures and attention. The third age includes the group of people who have reached retirement age or are in old age, and this category of population usually has its own special needs and limitations. The purpose of the study is to study and analyze innovative and inclusive approaches to the development of a startup project to improve the digital literacy of people of the third age in order to determine the best practices and recommendations for the effective implementation of such a project. The article examines an inclusive and innovative approach in the development of a start-up project of an IT school aimed at training people of the third age. The article explores current trends in education and technology development that can be applied to provide access and education to target audiences. The authors discuss the importance of creating an inclusive learning environment that takes into account the needs and capabilities of older adults. The article also considers the methodological aspects of the development of a start-up project of an IT school. The authors emphasize the importance of cooperation with specialists in psychology and gerontology for effective adaptation of educational programs to the needs of the elderly. The use of modern innovative approaches, such as the use of the latest technologies, teaching methods and psychological aspects, which can contribute to the adaptation of people of the third age to the digital environment, is substantiated. The main challenges and difficulties faced by the target participants are identified. Practical recommendations are  offered for other initiators of similar projects to improve digital literacy among older people.
