Abstract
The article explores the concepts of market and market infrastructure; it turns out that the basis for the division of market infrastructure into elements is the common functional purpose of the components in the process of social reproduction. The constituent elements of the market infrastructure and the main shortcomings of its functioning are identified.The article is devoted to the development of the main functions of market infrastructure: target, supply, regulatory and integration. Attention is paid to the importance of market infrastructure in the market economy of the country, as well as the importance of market infrastructure for further economic development.
