The article deals with the theoretical and practical principles for determining the potential of the enterprise and its components. To make effective decisions it is necessary to have objective information about the possibility of achieving the objectives set by the enterprise in various fields of activity. The most important thing is to get a general, integral assessment that takes into account all the possibilities and all the limitations. Such an assessment can be obtained based on the use of enterprise potential. The problem of using the potential of an enterprise is one of the main in the modern economy. The essence of this problem lies in identifying ways and means of achieving the greatest satisfaction of infinite social needs in the face of limited resources.References
