Abstract

The large-scale financial and economic crisis has become a serious challenge for the world community, creating uncertainty about the future development of both global and national economies. Intangible assets, which are defined as intellectual capital and are manifested in the form of information, knowledge and intellectual property, are becoming increasingly important in the formation of the market value of a modern enterprise. The current conditions in which the formation of intellectual capital in Ukraine takes place are characterized by extreme complexity. The military conflict has led to a significant degradation of the scientific and technological sphere and has caused a weakening of the spiritual and moral component of national intellectual capital. Additionally, in recent years, demographic problems have significantly intensified in all regions of Ukraine, manifested in a decrease in the birth rate, an increase in the mortality rate (in particular among people of working age) and other aspects of depopulation. One of the key components of strategic intellectual capital management is to ensure a comprehensive approach that takes into account the interconnection and interdependence of all elements of the management system of the enterprise's structural divisions. This is aimed at stimulating innovative development and accumulating intellectual potential, which serves as the basis for long-term and sustainable improvement of the organization's efficiency in the conditions of the formation of a knowledge economy. Based on the analysis of the main functions of intellectual process management - such as diagnostics and analysis of human resources potential, training and development of personnel competencies, planning and forecasting, social investment - it is possible to distinguish separate strategies for managing intellectual capital that contribute to its improvement. Taking into account the functional approach, the following types of strategies are distinguished: management-analytical, strategy for increasing the efficiency of intellectual potential, as well as strategies for transformation and goal-setting and social development. Today, we will highlight six main stages of developing and implementing an intellectual capital management strategy. The presented theoretical foundations of strategic management take into account the key elements of intellectual capital, their interaction and integration, which allows you to determine the direction of successful strategic development of the organization and form the basis for long-term competitive advantages. The creation of a comprehensive system of assessment and management of intellectual capital will contribute to increasing the value of the enterprise and strengthening its viability. In the future, it is worth focusing on creating a detailed algorithm for the practical implementation of the selected strategy for managing intellectual capital. This will significantly accelerate the achievement of specific positive results, including increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of the enterprise.
