Abstract

The article reveals the relevance of introducing innovations based on foreign experience to improve the development of the road industry in Ukraine, especially in the post-war period. It is noted that the creation of a sustainable and efficient transport system in a country that has experienced a full-scale war or other crisis situations is possible thanks to innovations in the field of road construction. In the conditions of such crises, innovative technologies and methods are necessary for the restoration and development of road infrastructure. The application of innovations in road construction not only accelerates the process of restoring damaged highways, but also ensures the creation of a sustainable, modern and optimized transport system. The use of innovative approaches makes it possible to effectively shorten recovery times, which in turn helps to reduce costs. In particular, the innovative directions of road construction in the direction of "rapid construction" were considered, it was noted that the use of modular technologies and accelerated construction methods is an effective way to achieve rapid restoration of road infrastructure (in this direction, the experience of Japan and Sweden was considered), "green road construction", it was noted, that green road construction is an important aspect of modern sustainable development, as it is aimed at minimizing  the impact of construction on the environment and the use of environmentally friendly technologies and materials. (the experience of the Netherlands), "the application of the «circular economy», namely the application of the «circular economy» in road construction involves the maximum use of secondary materials, waste recycling, and the creation of effective resourcemanagement systems to reduce the impact on the environment and optimize the use of resources in this sector (experience of Germany). Summarizing the research, this article presents the key aspects for the introduction of innovative directions of road construction in Ukraine in the post-war period based on foreign experience.
