INFORMATION SUPPORT AND INFORMATION ACTIVITIES OF STATE EXECUTIVE AUTHORITIES

Abstract

This article describes the essence of the information activities of state executive authorities. It was established that it is a complex process and consists of many elements, including information openness, information interaction, and information  support. The areas of information support for the activities of state institutions, in particular the Rivne District State Administration, were analyzed. It is noted that for the effective iplementation of the state information policy in the Rivne district, the Program of awareness of the population and promotion of the development of the information space is functioning. The purpose and main tasks of the program, as well as the amount of funding and the main tools for implementing the specified program, are given. The dynamics of information activities were analyzed and the increase in their number during 2021–2022 was established. It was noted that in the conditions of martial law, social networks are an important communication channel for the informational interaction of the authorities with the population. The strengths and weaknesses of such information interaction are systematized. It was noted that an important direction of informational activity of the district state administration is work with appeals, in connection with which the work on implementation of organizational and practical measures for timely and highquality consideration of citizens' appeals has been continued in the Rivne district. The largest share of applicants are pensioners. The most popular issues that concern the residents of the Rivne district are issues of social protection of the population (appointment and payment of social benefits, payment of targeted assistance to internally displaced persons, provision of humanitarian aid, calculation of benefits and housing and communal subsidies), agrarian policy and land relations, communal economy, etc. A conclusion was made about the need for informational interaction between authorities and the public, dissemination of relevant and true information, timely response to public appeals.
