Abstract

The article substantiates the need to transform corporate culture based on environmental awareness. The purpose of this article is to justify the need to transform corporate culture based on environmental awareness. To achieve the goal, the following tasks were completed: to reveal the essence of the concept of «corporate culture»; to investigate the main aspects of corporate culture; highlight the main transformational directions of corporate culture in modern society. In the process of writing the article, general scientific and special research methods were applied. Deductive and inductive methods were used to study the concept of corporate culture. Economic analysis and comparison are used to justify the role of corporate culture in the world and Ukrainian society. The abstract-logical method is used for theoretical generalizations and summing up. It has been established that corporate culture can be characterized as consistent organizational behavior of managers and employees of the enterprise, which reflects its main values and directly indicates leading positions in a specific period of time. The transformation of corporate culture during the wartime period, aimed at helping the Armed Forces and increasing the level of environmental friendliness, is substantiated. It has been proven that corporate culture consists of reducing the impact of its activities on the environment and the need to implement green practices. It has been established that corporate governance determines the structure and organization of the enterprise, contributing to the organization of functions and interaction between divisions, helps to identify and manage risks associated with the enterprise's activities. Effective corporate governance contributes to increasing the value of the enterprise for shareholders, realizing their interests and expectations through the effective use of resources and the achievement of strategic goals. A simplified and transparent system of corporate governance contributes to increasing the trust of investors, customers, and other stakeholders in the enterprise, which can positively affect its reputation and financial condition.
