USING THE AGILE-MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES IN PROJECT EXPERTISE AND MANAGEMENT OF EFFECTIVE TEAMS

Abstract

The article describe es the essence of Agile-management. The article, based on the study of the features of Agile-management,  identifies the distinctive characteristics and principles of management that define it as an effective innovative approach to project management. Agile management is defined as a modern flexible and adaptive approach to management, capable of adapting to any conditions and processes in the organization. Its main feature is defined, which is to understand the greater value of man and human relations for the technical and formal conditions of business organizations. The main ideas and principles that distinguish it as a value-oriented management, which has a number of advantages to ensure a successfuloutcome, are described. The main ideas are the importance of developing people’s potential, and their responsibility for the product; building transparent and trusting relationships between the customer and the executing party; team readiness for change. Value-oriented principles of Agile-management are the orientation of teamwork to meet the needs of consumers, joint work of project developers and business representatives to get the best results, effective exchange of information, constant attention to technical excellence and design quality, and the desire to work in selforganized teams, etc. The system of criteria put forward to team members (knowledge, creativity, motivation, diversity, personal characteristics) is substantiated; approaches to employee motivation; creation of team values; the team’s ability to make collective decisions in the absence of a centralized plan; level of trust in the team; empowerment and delegation of authority to team members. It is noted that the human factor in such teams is decisive. It is important that each team member understands what the team is doing.Employees must be highly motivated and guided by moral and ethical values. Staff should feel a sense of belonging to a company or team where there is a group project, social activities, and well-being. It is shown that the success of Agile-management has certain mechanisms, which include: leadership development; learning culture; self-organization of small teams; control over the results by the employees themselves; team diversification; availability of managers to business information; unity of principles, goals, and values.
