Abstract
The main aspects of the market of fruit and berry products were analyzed, an idea was formed about changing trends and factors affecting its dynamics. Analyzing the fruit and berry market of Ukraine in previous years, it is observed that the products of domestic production make up 75–77%. The other 25–30% of production is imported - mostly objectively necessary goods, which consist mainly of citrus fruits and bananas and other exotic fruits. The fruit and berry market of Ukraine is specific, and the state pays attention to its development and support. Accordingly, such a situation can be considered optimistically as a market of opportunities for farming business and farms. Another important aspect is the storage of demanding products and the expansion of the network of cold stores and freezing technologies, because it is specific. The need for maintenance services, repairs, spare parts, production of equipment, and specific equipment for transportation will also grow. Financial and organizational support, insurance, etc. are also needed. The analysis also opens horizons for the training of the necessary specialists for the relevant market, as well as for the organization of capital investments through various investment projects. Therefore, the analysis of the fruit and berry market is an important aspect in the preparation of management decisions for interested parties. In the world, there is an increase in interest and demand for the products of the fruit and berry industry. After all, interest in a healthy lifestyle and nutrition and consumption of natural vitamins is an indicator of the qualityof life and the level of wealth. In this regard, a significant number of investments and projects in the fruit and berry industry are observed not only in developed countries, but also in countries with high natural potential in this field, in particular in Ukraine. There is state support for fruit and berry farmers, international support programs with various funding sources that are objectively implemented in this field.
