ANALYSIS OF THE MAIN TRENDS IN THE AUTOMOBILE MARKET OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The passenger car market in Ukraine and its prospects for functioning and ways of improvement are analyzed. The effects of the relevant automotive market and its development on the direct and tangential possibilities of functioning of business services in this field are indicated. Analyzing the trends of the previous years in the automobile market, it is observed that the influences on the processes that took place in this market in Ukraine are multifactorial, complex and often interrelated. They mainly have a dynamic nature of influence and are classically divided into external factors of direct and indirect effect on both sellers, importers and buyers. The analysis of the automobile market provides insight into the trends and factors influencing its dynamics. The car market of Ukraine is specific, because in recent years the share of the secondary market in it is a very significant percentage. Based on the analysis, such a situation can be viewed from an optimistic point of view as a market of opportunities. That is, potentially under certain conditions there are good prospects for the growth rate of the primary car market. And the second related direction is the expansion of needs for car maintenance services, repairs, production of spareparts, logistics, insurance, etc. Professional actions in the sales of all market operators in 2022, despite the martial law, the shock of consumers still managed to sell 40 thousand new passenger cars in Ukraine, this is 61.3% less than in the prewar year 2021. But this is a good result in such extremely difficult conditions, let us remind you that this is a period of various restrictions, such as the closure of enterprises during frequent air strikes, interruptions with electricity and from and Internet resources of companies both in sales and in supplies, losses in personnel, reduction consumers, etc. The analysis also makes it possible to substantiate the needs for training the necessary specialists for the relevant market, as well as for capital investments through various investment projects, etc. Therefore, the analysis of the car market is the basis for making various management decisions.
