Abstract

The article focuses on the work of the National Mediation and Conciliation Service branch in Rivne region in analyzing and preventing collective labor disputes. This issue requires an in-depth study of not only current legislation, but also relevant foreign documents and accumulated experience in this area. In particular, we analyze  the role and importance of the National Mediation and Conciliation Service in resolving collective labor disputes. In times of crisis, company employees panic, fearing they may lose their jobs and not receive their salaries on time.  Therefore, an important task of the state in the current environment is to develop legal instruments to prevent collective labor disputes (disputes). The issue of preventing collective labor conflicts requires in-depth research and analysis of not only the current legislation, but also relevant foreign regulations and experience in this area. Today’s task of any modern democratic state, including Ukraine, is to ensure effective and prompt settlement of collective labor disputes by legal means in order to prevent social upheavals in society. For this purpose, national legal systems use various forms and methods of resolving collective labor disputes and conflicts, while giving preference to peaceful methods of their settlement. At present, the National Mediation and Conciliation Service office in Rivne Oblast sees an urgent problem in the need to develop joint, consolidated social responsibility for the common consequences of the actions and interaction of the parties to social and labor relations. This will strengthen the importance of conciliation procedures, increase their effectiveness, expand the use of the mechanism of collective labor disputes (conflicts), and improve the state of social and labor relations and ensure social stability in labor collectives. In addition, the article will examine the analytical and informational activities of the office in the pre-war period and after the full-scale invasion and the effectiveness of the National Mediation and Conciliation Service office in Rivne region. The study of these issues is the subject of this publication.
