Abstract

One of the ways to improve the life of a city is to organize the operation of its transport system. In the context of the need to restore the vital activity of Ukrainian cities in the post-war period, there is a need to develop scientifically based proposals for the development of transport and transport infrastructure of cities. In the context of the country's transition to the European Union, there is a need to guide Ukraine's integration processes and adapt urban planning policy to EU standards.  An urgentis sue today is to guarantee the safety and stability of transportation (freight and passenger) as an element of economic stability of the region sinparticular and the country as a whole. This creates the necessary conditions for improving the efficiency of the city's transportation system. This includes improving comfort, mobility, and minimizing transportation costs. One of the main ways to address this is sueis to use high-speed public transport. This primarily applies to large and largest cities, including their suburban areas. A feature that characterizes the transport service of Ukrainian cities is thatthestreetandroadnetworkdoesnotcorrespondtotheexistingtrafficloadofthecity. This causes social, economic, environmental and traffic safety problems. Foreign experience shows that one of the most effective methods of organizing the operation of high-speed public transport is the metrobus.
