Abstract

Data on harvesting technologies of some fruit and berry crops are given. Ways to improve the technology of collecting fruit and some berry crops in the gardens of intensive gardening are presented. There is also information on the use of modern innovative technologies in the gardens of intensive fruit growing. The following methods of fruit harvesting are the most common in industrial plantations of intensive type: semi-mechanized - when using self-propelled or trailed platforms; mechanized, when in the harvesting cycle all operations are performed by special machines. With modern innovative technologies in agriculture, such as drones, farmers are able to accurately determine crop biomass, plant height, weeds and water saturation in certain areas of the field. Engineers at a research institute in Silicon Valley have prepared an autonomous robot to harvest the first crop of apples. The project of a commercial collector was developed for two years. React Robotics, a company that specializes in artificial intelligence and software, has created the robotic dog DogBot, which is designed for harvesting. React Robotics consults with farmers to understand in what areas it is possible to use the robot and how it can cope with its tasks. Information on the development of Winstar Technology (Vinnytsia), whose engineers are working on their own robot for picking berries. As part of the Soil Bot project, it is planned to create a mechanism for autonomous work in the field. It is believed that this robot can not only replace collectors, but also improve the quality of work. In addition, there is also information about modern "smart" devices that allow you to harvest the so-called "tender" fruits. This is a development of the famous company SFM Technology Limited.
