QUALITY IMPROVEMENT OF WELL WATER ON THE RIVNE POLISSІA

Abstract

The violation of the quality of drinking water in settlements of the Rivne region, which are being polluted in a decentralized version by rural residents from private mine wells, was established by the results of a 15- year study of drinking water by the sanitary and epidemiological service. Our assumptions are based on long-term (2014–2019), dramatically reduced rainfall, filtered through low-grade sandy soil to groundwater levels. Appropriate measures have been proposed to improve the chemical composition of groundwater in rural settlements in Rivne Polissіa.Systematic studies have shown an increase in the indicator anthropogenic pollution, which manifests itself in the form of insoluble impurities of clay, silt, dust, and other organic substances. In addition to physical components in well water, there are components of chemical pollution: mineral salts, detergents, and synthetic surface-active substances. In the waters of wetlands, there is a high content of fulvic acids, which are an organic component or indivisible fraction humic substances.Salts of natural humic acids interact with metal ions groundwater and determine genetic, ecological, and agronomic functions. Determining circumstances are created in polluted groundwater biological pollution of well waters by viruses, bacteria, eggs helminths, and fungal spores. Decrease in drinking water quality of groundwater aquifer due to natural factors, in particular sharp decrease precipitation, which contributed to the increased outflow of man-made pollution.For many Polissіa villages, it is necessary to take into account the geomorphological features of the relief, its slope to the hydrographic network correctly determines the direction of flow from a particular estate. In winter and summer, take water for chemical analysis and send it to the laboratory of the district sanatorium.
