Effective management of territorial systems in general and reclaimed lands in particular is possible only on the basis of collecting and processing information on the state of natural and technical components of reclamation systems in space and time. Insufficient knowledge about the phenomena that develop as a reaction to the reclamation and other activities in different years, leads to a misreading of the results of observations and research. The development of a system for assessing the ecological and reclamation situation on the basis of sufficiently justified in terms of their representativeness, cost-effective and environmentally sound methods is an urgent problem today. The availability of detailed objective information on the state of the environment allows to properly orient public administration bodies, agricultural producers, rational use of natural resources, ensure the preservation and development of the natural ability to reproduce these resources on the way to sustainable development of human society. The right combination of mineral additives and mineral fertilizers on peat soils in combination with regulated water-air, heat and other regimes allows not only to increase their fertility, but also to manage the mineralization of organic matter, to minimize its unproductive losses. The introduction of increased rates of fertilizers should be considered as a measure that not only increases soil productivity, but also helps to preserve the organic matter of peat.References
