The article is devoted to the issues of training personnel in agroecology for the needs of the French national economy, the connection of state policy, science and education. It is established that in France agroecology is considered as a strategic component of the state agrarian and environmental policy. Implemented government projects contributed to the introduction of agroecological innovations in agriculture. The developed new TYFA concept envisages a complete transition of Europe to agroecology – without pesticides and mineral nitrogen fertilizers and provides for the possibility of ensuring the food needs of the population through the transformation of not only production, but also consumption models. The TYFA scenario envisages a comprehensive approach to the sustainable development of the agricultural sector, which combines environmental, economic and social dimensions and becomes the conceptual basis for the formation of modern agroecological policy and the training of a new generation of specialists. Solving such ambitious tasks is impossible without personnel of appropriate qualifications. A holistic model of training specialists in agroecology has been formed, which is characterized by interdisciplinary nature, close connection of education with scientific research and practice, active interaction of universities, research institutes, farms and state administration bodies. The main approaches to training specialists – agroecologists at each educational level have been determined. The need for personnel in agroecology in Ukraine has also been outlined and it is proposed to use the experience of France in training such specialists, taking into account connections with scientific centers, agricultural enterprises and local governments. This issue is especially relevant in the context of local government reform and post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.Downloads
