An analysis of the influence of natural factors on the state of morbidity of the population of Ukraine was carried out. It was established that the level of health largely depends on the conditions of the external environment, and is defined as an indicator of the level of adaptability of a specific group of people to certain natural and socio-economic circumstances.
Throughout its history, human society has continuously influenced the surrounding natural environment, but the importance of nature in human life, and at the same time the extent of society's influence on the environment, have constantly changed.
One of the modern problems of humanity is the state of the natural environment and its impact on individual and public health. Climatogenic and meteotropic diseases caused by various climatic factors are reasonably distinguished.
Biogeopathogenesis was recognized as a set of natural phenomena that cause a negative impact on the health of the population.
The problem of health has become a socio-philosophical problem. The ecological concept of health, as noted by I. Zaleskyi, testifies to the connection of human health with his living environment and industrial activity with anthropogenic influence on naturе.
The World Health Organization provides the following definition of health: "Population health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or physical infirmity".
The level of health largely depends on the conditions of the external environment. It is defined as an indicator of the level of adaptability of a specific group of people to certain natural and socio-economic circumstances.
The state of favorable weather for humans depends on meteorological indicators, the movement of atmospheric fronts, changes in solar activity and the Earth's geomagnetic field, etc. Unfavorability of the weather depends significantly on the rate of change of temperature, pressure, characteristics of air masses, oxygen content, in particular the decrease in its amount with height, parameters of the geomagnetic field. Therefore, not only the absolute parameters of the above indicators, but also the speed of their change have a tangible effect on a person's well-being.
