Abstract

The modern era is characterized by uneven development of spatialterritorial systems. Investments, including direct foreign investments, which contribute to the economic development of the city, region, country, are one of the instruments that can positively influence the development of the regions of the country. In recent years there has been a decrease in investment flow. The reason is the unfavorableinvestment climate in the country, which does not protect the investor’s rights from investment risks – first of all, loss of income and capital. Investment climate – a system of factors (subjective and objective), which form an investment environment conducive to investment activity, and determine the attractiveness of the spatial and economic system for the investor. At the city level, the issues of the investment climate are regulated by local self-government bodies. Indirectly about the favorable investment climate tell information resources for the investor on the sites of the city administrations. Investigation of information for an investor on the websites of the city councils indicates: the variety of information provided in this section; lack of a common approach to displaying information for an investor; lack of image-based information on many web sites; in some cases, the difficulty in finding information and / or superficial information display for an investor. According to the results of the analysis, the proposal to streamline the information for investors on the websites of city councils is provided so that this information could be compared in different cities. Also, the information should be accessible forunderstanding, along with both relative indicators (indexes and rates of growth) and absolute indicators (direct foreign investments per person, capital investments per person, employment of the population, etc.) that confirm the development of the city.
